A handsome hunk and a funky chick on their way to college had an accidental collision on the footpath. The boy was busy listening to music and dancing to its beats. The girl was chuckling as she was watching a video on her mobile.
A spark of crush hit their eyes. They managed to hide it from each other. They pretended to be okay and exchanged their names and said sorry to one other, moved on. They hit a icon on their mobiles; the icon of a social site called facebook. Searched for the names they just came across. Their fingers dared to deny their commands. They both sent a friend request to each other and by the time they were on the next street both were friends online.
What happens next? The trailer ends.

Making of the movie
Imagine that I was given a chance to make a movie thirty years back, (just when I was born) in the year 1983. The theme of the movie is, a technological fiction of how life would be after thirty years from now i.e. year 2013. I would have done this movie called "2k13, World on click".
This is a film of two teenagers who had fun with internet, fell in love through internet, started their roots as entrepreneurs with the help of internet, begun their journey by mastering the art of making apps based on internet and kick-started their company which was on internet.
It is a story of how the early exposure to internet technology and mobile gadget shaped the lives of two teenagers.
A few of the details in this movie that you don't actually see in 2012 are the ones that I would love to see in 2013. Have a great time watching this film.
Lights, Camera and Action
A 22 year old guy is coming out of a building made of nothing but the glass. He is dressed in a freshly torn pair of mud washed blue jeans which is loosely hanging below his waist showing off his bold printed boxers. It is paired with a see through sleeveless T-shirt showing his six pack abs and bulky biceps. His hair is pointing high towards the sky and looks like spikes.
Two wireless accessories called headphone plugs are plugged freely in his ears which is connected to a handheld device called mobile. He is waving his head in air out of response to the music which is heard only to him. He is listening to a newly released album which has not yet hit the stores. He is continuously touching the screen of the mobile making clicks, swipes and gestures.
A young and pretty 21 year old girl is walking in the opposite direction and suddenly dashes the guy, waking him out of the music world.
She is dressed in a check bright mini skirt paired with a black off-shoulder top. Her curled hair left untied has a colour that matches her skirt. Her eyebrows are pierced and her left hand wrist accessory is exhibiting vibrant colours. Her boots are running high to reach her knees and make tak-tak tone as she steps. A black little back-pack fallen on her back is dancing left and right when she walks to turn heads.
She is holding a mobile larger than her palm which has a designer cover studded with swarovski diamonds. She is giggling over a video that she is watching on her handset.
Both stand still looking at each other trying to sink the impact after the wake-up collision.
Boy: Oh, I am sorry, actually I was sunk in the wonderful music that I was listing.
Girl: Oh no, I must be sorry I was just not aware of the road ahead and people around me; I was watching this video shared on the twitter.
Boy: Any way I am Chunky.
Girl: Myself Funky.
Glad to meet you said Chunky and Funky and moved on.
With the access to 3G on their mobile, internet is at lightning speed. They took no time to find out each other's profiles on facebook and twitter. They were virtual friends in just a few seconds. They started accessing facebook in the classroom; checking out friends of each other; finding a few common friends and making some more new ones; sharing, liking and commenting on pictures and status updates of each other.
They grew closer and closer as days passed by. Phone calls and video calls were bliss. Chirping on twitter, hanging out on pinterest, sharing their views on tumblr, there was nothing more they could have asked for? Life was fun and they were in touch 24/7.
They started seeing each other. They played games on mobile- gaming is fun. They argued and agreed what to listen- choosing music is fun. Watched and enjoyed movies on mobiles- faster browsing is fun. All this and ran out of currency but thanks to 3G, top up on the spot and money out of boy-friend's pocket- recharging on the go is fun.
They drove out of the city, Goa, Ooty, Kanyakumari, Kerala and more. Fighting on which way to take and exploring the navigation software on their mobiles. Finding and deciding on best and economical hotels and restaurants, all with the help of mobile and tablet, thanks to 3G.
They soon discovered one interest both of them have in common. Funky used a sophisticated touch screen mobile with Android OS while Chunky used an iPhone. Both had some great ideas for apps in their respective OS platforms. When their frequencies matched, they were already on their way to become youngpreneurs.
Even before they were 18, they were the proud owners of a few internet based apps for Android and iOS. Not only this but they even had a bank balance that wowed people.
Internet is fun but it is even more fun to stay connected on mobile. Chunky and Funky are not just fun loving but also are one among those few smart teenagers who earn while they learn. Internet on their mobile played a vital role in their life. Their perception towards the career and profession had taken a different route.
The bond between them was getting stronger and the urge to know each other's parents became evident. But staying in hostels away from home did not stop them. All thanks to video conference on the go. They not only spoke to their parents but also met them virtually in person.
It was the last year in college for Chunky before he was out of his professional course. He had already started shaping his future. He was through in a campus selection from a leading company. But nah, I wanna begin my career with my own start up was his answer.
Funky is a year younger to Chunky and there is a year to go before she finishes her course. But, she has some great ideas and dreams to be an entrepreneur some day. And here is her bold and confident decision to quit her college and join Chunky as a first engineer in his start up.
It was the New Year's Eve on 31 December 2013, Chunky and Funky along with their families were on cloud nine. It was not just another new year's party. It was a day to celebrate the beginning of new life. It was the engagement day for Chunky and Funky as well as the inauguration of their start up.
The year 2013 was action packed for Chunky and Funky. Life was fun, life was mobile, life was a surprise and their life was on high. Their life in this year was like '2k13, World on click'.
